Angelus Apatrida – The Call

Angelus Apatrida is a thrash metal band hailing from Spain. During their career since 2000, they have released three studio albums full of agressive and dynamic thrash songs, leaving great impressions to the fans and the media. Two years after their previous record, “Clockwork”, Angelus Apatrida are back with their 4th album that is called “The Call”.

The album starts with “You Are Next” (the first video clip of the album) a song capable to make you destroy whatever you see in front of you with it’s ultimate fury and agression. “The Call” is a very fast and heavy record. Angelus Apatrida did a great work in this record; they released an album that will create hell in the mosh pits! Very fast songs, with killer riffs, excellent drumming, and vocals that I can only characterize as “fuckin’ thrash”! You will also find some groovy parts in this album that fit very well with the music of the band. The mid-tempo parts of the album are a very good soundtrack for constant headbanging. Songs like “You Are Next”, “Violent Dawn”, “It’s Rising!”, “Fresh Pleasure” and so on are like a hurricane that takes everything with it. The production is also very good. I think that this album is one of the best thrash releases of 2012 and that we should expect even bigger things in the future from this band!

“The Call” is a killer thrash record. Angelus Apatrida did a great job here. I hope to have the chance to see them live soon because I am sure that their concerts will be a real blast!
