Two years have passed since the very strong release Revenge and the German Heavy/Power metallers Paragon are once again back to the front with a new release. Forgotten Prophecies well, and the doubts that I had if the new album would have any unpleasant surprise finally evaporate as the album ends. It seems that Paragon have found the key to success and they aren’t ready to stop using it.

The album is beautiful, dynamic, melodic, with a few words a classic Paragon album. Generally the album follows the path of the previous very good album and its evenly indurative for many hours of strong headbanging without many and long solos and with great vocals from mr Babuschkin, although I have to confess that the drums didn’t enthuse me as the fact that the bass is fairly lowered in contrast to the rest so it’s buried.

To pick the best parts of this album is a little hard since the songs are “1 and 1” so I leave it to your judgement.

In conclusion I would like to wish to the band to keep releasing great albums such as this but also a grand live in our country would be the best for the better promotion of the new album.
