Greek old-school thrashers SUICIDAL ANGELS will enter Prophecy & Music Factory Studios in Kempten, Germany early October to begin recording the follow-up to last year’s “Dead Again”. The band will once again work with Greek producer Roberto Dimitri Liapakis, who helmed SUICIDAL ANGELS’ last CD and is said to “know better than anyone else which sound the group is looking for.” According to the band, “Everybody is looking forward to be working together on the new album. Never change a winning team.”
“Bloodbath” is scheduled for release on January 27, 2012 via NoiseArt Records and will feature cover artwork by Ed Repka, who has previously worked with MEGADETH and DEATH, and who was responsible for the “Dead Again” cover.
In February 2012, SUICIDAL ANGELS will embark on the “Full Of Hate” tour alongside BEHEMOTH, CANNIBAL CORPSE, LEGION OF THE DAMNED and MISERY INDEX.
“It’s truly a pleasure to hit the road, every time that it happens,” SUICIDAL ANGELS said in a statement. “And who could ask for a better lineup than the one in Full Of Hate! Probably the best tour of 2012, and what do you know, you’ve got it all! CANNIBAL CORPSE, BEHEMOTH (finally back in action), LEGION OF THE DAMNED and MISERY INDEX: bringing brutality to a venue near you…! And what better way for us to promote our new record, planned to be released shortly before the tour kicks off… We’ve got nothin’ more to say… We know we’ll see all of you crazy thrashers on the road!”
