After their take-no-prisoners debut “Ear Piercing Thrash”, BIO-CANCER is back with “Tormenting The Innocent“!

The album kicks off with the full-speed assault of “Obligated To Incest” and the title track, showing improvement in the gang vocals and the vocals of Lefteris, who sounds like Mikael Castevall (HYPNOSIA) mixed with Glen Benton (DEICIDE).

Also the rhythm section has been given the chance to add more variety to the songs, for example in “Bulletproof” (albums’ promotional video) where we have the bass playing the intro riff before the guitars (very New York Thrash influenced motif, and we love that) with one of the most addictive choruses of the album and a really smart bass break. “Boxed Out” is another devastating Thrash track with a small surprise after the second chorus: a bass break and a mindblowing riff that immediately brought DISSECTION/DISMEMBER to mind (someone in the band really loves Sweden).

And hold on there, did I say Sweden? On the next track, BIO-CANCER give us “F(r)iends Or Fiends”, with a cello intro that brought IN FLAMES of the “Lunar Strain”/”Jester Race” era to mind! The rest of the song sounds like “Extreme Aggression”-era-KREATOR jammed with IN FLAMES, and BIO-CANCER taking notes of that jam and making one of the absolute best songs on the album! Especially that solo is killing me EVERY TIME! After that melodic break, they decided to give us more high-speed Thrash with mosh-oriented Bay Area riffage on “Think!”.

“Chemical Castration”  starts with a headbanging riff, leading to a fast-paced tornado  and a chorus reminiscent of DEICIDE. Up next, “Haters Gonna Suffer!” is the more crossover song of the album, in the vein of Wehrmacht, clocking it at under 2 minutes! “Life Is Tough (So Am I)” is the listeners’ final chance to enjoy the BIO-CANCER brand of thrash: groovy, fast-paced and sharp!

BIO-CANCER is back with a more diverse yet more furious neck-breaker! You have been warned.
