The Gathering this year celebrate 20 years of music history and are visiting Greece more rejuvenated than ever!

In the fall of 1989 the two brothers, Hans & Rene Rutten along with their friend Bart Smits, decided to create The Gathering. At that time they had no specific plan nor strategy but only the desire and enthusiasm to compose and play music. In the spring of 2009, the band released their 9th studio album, The West Pole, with the contribution of the new lead singer of the group, Silje Wergeland. Presently, the band looks back on these 20 years of music: from doom metal to the atmospheric alternative rock, the great worldwide acclaim and success that classified them among the most important representatives of the alternative music scene and that gained them great numbers of fans around the globe.
