The Sonisphere festivals held around the world next year are set to be thrashing affairs.
The first four bands confirmed for the Sonisphere festivals are:
Metallica
Slayer
Anthrax
Mastodon
This will be the second year running that Metallica, Anthrax and Mastodon play the Sonisphere festival.
Apparently Megadeth were approached, but refused a place on the line-up due to being placed below Metallica on the bill.
